Southern Women

I worked a bit at our booth this weekend at the Southern Women's Show held across the river at the Trade Center- it provided an excellent view. 
There were also lots of goodies for sale. I of course couldn't resist spending a little money- I needed a statement necklace in my life.

Savannah Restaurant Week

This past Friday the boyfriend & I partook in Savannah Restaurant Week (also celebrating our 1 month) at 17 Hundred 90. Oh my goodness, the food was delicious! So much so that I didn't want to take the time to snap any photos- I couldn't wait to try my 3 courses, which were: 

-Savannah Style Caprese—Fried green tomatoes topped with pepper jack cheese, fresh basil and a balsamic vinaigrette reduction
-Chateaubriand Rouge— Chef carved slices of filet mignon topped with sauteed mushrooms and port wine reduction; served with horseradish mashed potatoes and seasoned asparagus
-Pecan Pie—Our signature pie with bourbon, molasses and Georgia pecans topped with bourbon glaze
