Southern Women

I worked a bit at our booth this weekend at the Southern Women's Show held across the river at the Trade Center- it provided an excellent view. 

There were also lots of goodies for sale. I of course couldn't resist spending a little money- I needed a statement necklace in my life.

Quarter of a century.

I'm officially 25.. 

I've been on a strict diet for the past 7 weeks, but I let myself enjoy a sweet treat. I regret nothing! 

I also let myself enjoy a fabulous vintage carved coral ring that I snagged at the Wright Square Antique Mall. And I let my mom treat me to a new bottle of Tocca- Bianca (smells like heaven!) compliments of The Paris Market. Maybe 25 isn't so bad. 

Buttons!

As a kid I love sifting through my grandmother's button box. So, when she passed away last year it's the only thing I really wanted. 

So many buttons! 

And having an undying love for (giant) rings I've managed to craft a few from her vast collection. 

Saturday was breezy & cloudy AKA perfect weather. I took a stroll downtown & found these vintage buttery soft cashmere lined gloves for $5. Fall is almost here!

I also found this adorable tray at the Flea Market (circa 1952). 

I picked up this little beauty at a thrift store during my week at home. Just one of my treasures, more to come. 

So charming..

I'm a sucker for giant cocktail rings. I popped over to the newly opened Charming Charlie today & picked up this a-mazing peacock ring. I definitely be back, adorable jewelry & adorable prices too.

I found  this great vintage leather belt at Goodwill today complete with a Baron belt buckle from 1978. The belt is in great condition for a vintage piece.. Just the right amount of wear & tear. So thank you Ted, wherever you are.
