Born & Raised
Sure, I might be a little biased, because John can do no wrong in my eyes, but that aside.. I've been playing Born and Raised nonstop. It's a bit different, but it's still John.
I wanted to put in a live version, but they all had obnoxious people talking over the song..
Just a little eye candy.. Good lord.

Happy Fall!
Yes, it's a throwback to last year, but I can't help it. This video just makes me yearn for tweed and a fireplace. Happy first day of fall!

Savannah Music Festival
Last week The Avett Brothers played to a sold out crowd during the Savannah Music Festival- luckily I was in the madness as well. These guys put on one hell of a show!

Don't let go
What a great song to wake up to. Plus, all of that delicious 90's style. This song always puts a little pep in my step. And I'm pretty sure I owned that same bucket hat that Greg Alexander is sporting a some point in my life.

Life.
I'm sure I've been having more problems than Jay-Z, but at the end of the day I'm still glad a bitch ain't one.

Wishful thinking.. P.2
I'm still dreaming of cooler days & wool capes, so I created a little Fall playlist this afternoon to hold me over, & peppered it with a little Dylan. This is my favorite clip from "I'm Not There" & also my favorite Dylan song. The scene once again makes me wish for fall. Enjoy :)

The National
A depressing day for me calls for an equally depressing (but beautiful)
song for you. "Sorrow" by The National. Enjoy :)

The Bird & The Bee...
We play a great cover of Hall & Oates "Kiss On My List" at work and last night I discovered The Bird & The Bee. They're an indie duo from Los Angeles who recently did a tribute album to Hall & Oates. Their cover of "Rich Girl" makes me smile. Enjoy :)

Let me come home.
So long Savannah, at least for a few days. Mr. Rogers isn't the greatest traveler, he talks constantly... But he does however believe in looking dapper for our 300 mile drive.
P.S. I want to live in that video...

Je suis fini avec le français...
I always picture events in my life having background music... Strange I know. So it was most appropriate that in the moments leading up to my spoken French final today Bittersweet Symphony was playing in the campus Starbucks. This of course made me think of Sebastian's funeral in Cruel Intentions. Also appropriate because French makes me feel like I'm dying. But I'm happy to report that all went well. And I'm done with French... at least until next Wednesday when the final class begins..
