Treasures from the north

I was finally able to get back home for a few days last week, which of course meant lots of thrifting. I'm always surprised that the finds tend to be better in north Georgia than in Savannah. I picked up this vintage silk jacket, s few vintage dolls and a  great vase circa 1950s- I'll post those shortly.
Stay tuned!

Break out the vintage p.2

The other little vintage gem I picked up at Wright Square yesterday. I'd had my eye on it for a while & it was still there yesterday. It was meant to be.

Addictions

Vintage Neiman Marcus fur

I have many addictions two of which are vintage coats, & whimsical, fluffy Christmas decorations. Two things for which I will not apologize.

Crème de la crème

I try not to play favorites, but this coat might be my favorite find to date. The pattern is gorgeous, and has a hint of sparkle. And for $8(!) I cannot wait to wear this little gem.

Bring on the cold..

Just a couple of the goodies I picked up from a North Carolina flea market this past weekend. The pea coat is a Mackintosh, and fits like a glove. The other is a great reversible tweed number. Now it just needs to be cold enough to wear them..
