Take me to church

One place I've wanted to visit since I moved to Savannah is The Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist. Last week while I was wondering around on my birthday I finally decided to check it off my list. Such a gorgeous place.

Quarter of a century.

I'm officially 25..
I've been on a strict diet for the past 7 weeks, but I let myself enjoy a sweet treat. I regret nothing!

I also let myself enjoy a fabulous vintage carved coral ring that I snagged at the Wright Square Antique Mall. And I let my mom treat me to a new bottle of Tocca- Bianca (smells like heaven!) compliments of The Paris Market. Maybe 25 isn't so bad.

Bonaventure in the fall.

Today I took my first trip of the fall out to Bonaventure. As always I got some amazing shots. Enjoy!

Sweater Weather.

First of all shame on me for slacking on the posts lately.. But more importantly the Anthropologie holiday catalog arrived today. This sweater is one of many goodies added to my wish list.

Happy Fall!

Yes, it's a throwback to last year, but I can't help it. This video just makes me yearn for tweed and a fireplace. Happy first day of fall!

Fall preparations ❘ 2

Another thing added to the fall wish list. Compliments of Gap
Saturday was breezy & cloudy AKA perfect weather. I took a stroll downtown & found these vintage buttery soft cashmere lined gloves for $5. Fall is almost here!

I also found this adorable tray at the Flea Market (circa 1952).

Getting crafty ⎮Fall P.2

I made a festive string of garland for the mantle with my left over maple leaves. This hot glue gun could be the best.. or worst thing that's ever happened to me.

Getting crafty ⎮Fall

Tonight I was feeling a little crafty, so I  picked up some things and made a festive wreath for the front door. Now, what to do with all those extra maple leaves?

Fall preparations

With the Fall season fast approaching, (only 17 more days) I'm considering these classic L.L. Bean Duck Boots for those rainy, chilly days.. Hopefully those will arrive in Savannah soon.

04 December 2010

Sir yes sir.

I picked this blazer up at the new Wright Square Antique Mall downtown. The appliqué is so beautiful, even more so in person. It was custom made in 1961 for a General's Daughter, quite possibly this fella

Paris at Christmas time.

Paris Market is one of my favorite spaces in Savannah. It's so incredibly gorgeous, the perfect place to waste a cold afternoon.

Saddle up partner.

I didn't have to pony up very much for this little beauty up at  ARC,  a chic new vintage shop downtown. And cooler days are finally here, we have a low of 29 tonight. Can't wait to wrap up!

Just a couple of turkeys keeping it classy

Tourism.

Today brought a visit to Fort Pulaski. It was oddly beautiful, in all its exposed brick glory.  I could do so much with that space! I think I could have definitely been a solider here...

Mixing it up.

A little something new from Banana Republic.. How delicious is that giant collar?

So thankful.

I dare say I think I've found my festive Thanksgiving 2010 ensemble.. Bring on the turkey!

Crème de la crème

I try not to play favorites, but this coat might be my favorite find to date. The pattern is gorgeous, and has a hint of sparkle. And for $8(!) I cannot wait to wear this little gem.
