Here fishy, fishy, fishy

This kitschy fish vase is the only treasure I've found at our sketchy Salvation Army. 

In keeping with the fish theme I finally visited the Georgia Aquarium this week. I could have stayed all day- it was amazing.

I found  this great vintage leather belt at Goodwill today complete with a Baron belt buckle from 1978. The belt is in great condition for a vintage piece.. Just the right amount of wear & tear. So thank you Ted, wherever you are.

A day at the beach

A summer tip:  Never cheap out & buy store brand sunscreen. I'm pretty sure it's just baby oil in a can. And it smells terrible..  like cheap hairspray. Yuck.

The Bird & The Bee...

We play a great cover of Hall & Oates "Kiss On My List" at work and last night I discovered The Bird & The Bee. They're an indie duo from Los Angeles who recently did a tribute album to Hall & Oates. Their cover of "Rich Girl" makes me smile. Enjoy :)
