Block party perfect P.2

Love, love, love this vintage Sylvia Ann dress that I found at the Wilmington Island Goodwill. I'm guessing circa 1960s.

Block party perfect

I found this amazing shift dress at Sallie Mood Goodwill a few weeks ago. Perfect if I ever have to go to a 1960s block party. I'm thinking it's homemade, but it's quality work.

Flower child

My mom crafted this little number in the 70's. It makes me yearn for the supplies, talent, & patience to make my own clothes. And living with a fabulous fashion student doesn't help this itch...

I want to ride my bicycle...

I'll be like Elmira Gulch, just another bitch on a bike...

Hold on to your fashionable hat...

I love my new J. Crew Panama hat. I've never met a hat from J. Crew that I didn't like. They're always roomy enough for my big head...  Their trilby hats also fit really well & shade you from the pesky Savannah sun.

Happy 4th

I decided to brave the crowd on River Street & catch the fireworks. They were gorgeous. Happy 4th!

Here fishy, fishy, fishy

This kitschy fish vase is the only treasure I've found at our sketchy Salvation Army.

In keeping with the fish theme I finally visited the Georgia Aquarium this week. I could have stayed all day- it was amazing.

A day at the beach

A summer tip:  Never cheap out & buy store brand sunscreen. I'm pretty sure it's just baby oil in a can. And it smells terrible..  like cheap hairspray. Yuck.

Asleep on the job.. Creeping out the window is hard work...
I'm posting cat pictures... I'm desperate. I need excitement in my life...

Oh hey Summer...

I found this picture that I took at home last Summer. My grandfather puts his dirty coveralls in the garden to keep the deer out. He's one of my favorite people & it makes me miss home just a little...
