Taxidermy wishes.

I'm still seriously jonesing for a piece of taxidermy and Universe Trading Co. has in some pretty cool mounts. I'm home this week so I'm hoping to at least dig up a set of horns from my Grandfather's barn..

$34...

I snagged this peacock print for only $34 from Universe Trading Company.  It's rather large, measuring 65X32 inches- I have no idea where I'll be hanging it, but I couldn't pass it up. A gorgeous find on a gorgeous day capped off by a nice visit to Forsyth Park.

What a vast universe it is...

So after a brief hiatus due to an overwhelming school and work schedule... here we are again. Today I got the chance to interview Greg Portman for an article I'm writing, Portman owns the ever eclectic Universe Trading Company. Never one to leave empty handed, I found this delightful metal fish pendant for just three dollars.  Enjoy the photos :)

Vintage age therapy...

Such a relaxing Saturday. A day spent browsing countless antique stores in our wonderful city. There is nothing more relaxing and therapeutic to me than a day of hunting for treasures. The stores are always quiet, and no one bothers you; true peace. I didn't buy much today, a scottie dog pin at Universe Trading Company (the above photos are from there. They have a little of everything.) And  a dainty Staffordshire pin at a rummage sale. Just a couple more reasons I love Savannah...
