I just wrapped up one of my all time favorite movies; The Royal Tenenbaums. I love Margot not only for her 22 years of closet smoking & fabulous style, but mostly for dryness.

But.. it's so glamourous..

While analyzing ads for my design class I came across these vintage gems on vintageadbrowser.com. Vintage ads were such an art form. They had the power to make anything appear glamourous- especially smoking, and even a dreadful case of bad breath.

Mon examen français était terrible! But I love these French ladies. (I'm the one that's looking down FYI...) P.S.- I wish smoking (even though terribly bad for you) was this classy again...
